JOSEPH LEGACY HOLDINGS LLC
is seeking an experienced Alternate Station Manager to support the management and operation of passenger terminal services at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida. Position Summary The Alternate Station Manager will support the Station Manager in the overall management, supervision, and daily operation of passenger terminal services. The Alternate Station Manager will assist with personnel management, passenger and baggage operations, flight and mission support, transportation coordination, safety, security, reporting, and operational continuity. When required, the Alternate Station Manager will assume the responsibilities of the Station Manager.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years of recent experience within the last 7 years managing a similarly sized passenger terminal. Demonstrated experience in passenger terminal operations. Experience supervising and scheduling personnel. Experience with passenger processing and movement. Experience with baggage operations. Experience with gate operations and aircraft/passenger coordination. Experience with flight schedules, mission information, delays, cancellations, or operational changes. Experience coordinating transportation and passenger movement. Experience handling operational disruptions and time-sensitive situations. Experience maintaining operational records, reports, schedules, and documentation. Experience communicating with government, military, airline, airport, transportation, or other operational stakeholders. Experience supporting safety, security, customer-service, and operational requirements. Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work on-site in Jacksonville, Florida. Ability to obtain required government installation access, screening, and credentials. Must be able to pass applicable government-required screening and credentialing. Must provide a current resume demonstrating the required experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Terminal Management Assist the Station Manager with the overall operation of the passenger terminal. Help ensure passenger terminal services remain properly staffed and operational. Assist with daily operational planning and coordination. Support compliance with applicable contract, safety, security, and operational requirements. Assume Station Manager responsibilities when the Station Manager is unavailable or when directed. Passenger & Baggage Operations Support passenger check-in and processing. Coordinate baggage processing and movement. Support departure and arrival gate operations. Assist with passenger movement and transportation. Help resolve passenger-service and operational issues. Flight & Mission Support Monitor flight and mission schedules. Track arrivals, departures, delays, cancellations, and changes. Assist with communicating operational updates. Coordinate with appropriate terminal personnel regarding mission requirements. Support timely and accurate operational reporting. Personnel Management Assist with employee scheduling and daily assignments. Support training and onboarding of personnel. Assist with employee call-outs, leave, schedule changes, and operational coverage. Help maintain appropriate staffing levels. Promote compliance with established procedures and performance standards. Safety & Security Support a safe and professional terminal environment. Ensure personnel follow applicable safety and security procedures. Support government access and credentialing requirements. Assist with incident response and operational disruptions. Ensure required documentation and reports are completed. Transportation Coordination Assist with coordinating passenger transportation as required by terminal operations. Coordinate with transportation personnel regarding passenger movement. Help ensure transportation resources are available when required by mission operations. Quality Control & Reporting Assist the Station Manager with monitoring contract performance. Review operational records and reports. Identify operational problems and assist with corrective actions. Help maintain personnel, equipment, and operational readiness. Support continuous improvement of terminal operations.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
On-site at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Jacksonville, Florida. Full-time position. Terminal operations may extend across multiple shifts. Schedule flexibility may be required based on aircraft missions, passenger movements, operational requirements, emergencies, or other contract requirements. Occasional after-hours or non-standard operational support may be required.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Preference may be given to candidates with experience in: Military passenger terminals Air Mobility Command operations Airport terminal management Airline station management Passenger service management Airport ground operations Military transportation operations Government contract operations Passenger/baggage operations Air Terminal Operations Centers Patriot Express or similar military passenger operations
