PM End Time:
End of game/competition, typically 5:30-6:00
PM Days:
Needed most weekdays during the athletic season Hours may vary depending on game location, playoffs, tournaments, and athletic schedules. Compensation $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Required Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Valid School Bus Driver License/Certification issued or approved by the State of Florida or applicable county Required Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements, as applicable Must meet all state, county, and school requirements for transporting students Clean and acceptable driving record Must successfully complete all required background screenings Previous school bus or student transportation experience preferred Primary Responsibilities Safely transport student-athletes and coaches to and from away games and athletic events. Arrive at Somerset Academy DBK by the scheduled departure time. Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip bus inspections. Follow all school, county, state, and transportation safety regulations. Remain available during athletic competitions when required. Safely return athletes and coaches to campus following games. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bus environment. Immediately report vehicle concerns, accidents, delays, or safety issues. Maintain professional conduct when interacting with students, coaches, parents, officials, and opposing schools. Communicate with the Athletic Director regarding schedules, delays, and transportation changes.
