The Hanover Park Park District is seeking a reliable and safety-minded Bus Driver to transport participants to and from schools, programs, field trips, and Park District facilities. This position is ideal for a retired professional, stay-at-home parent, college student, or anyone seeking part-time hours during the school year . No CDL is required. Training is provided. Morning Route:
Approximately 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Afternoon Route:
Approximately 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday Candidates must be available for both the morning and afternoon shifts. Additional hours may be available for: Early school dismissals Preschool field trips Summer programs Special events Additional transportation needs What You'll Do Safely transport participants to and from schools, programs, and Park District facilities Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness Monitor participant safety during transportation Communicate professionally with participants, parents, school staff, and Park District employees Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or incidents promptly Represent the Hanover Park Park District in a positive and professional manner Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old Valid Illinois Driver's License (Class D) Safe driving record Ability to pass background screening and meet insurability requirements Dependable, punctual, and committed to safety Experience working with children or transporting passengers is helpful, but not required Who Should Apply?
