Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Bus Driver or Retired Bus Driver to join our team. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers, including children to and from Marshfield Elementary Schools to the Club; M-F 2 hours (Approximately 3PM to 5PM) each afternoon when school is in session. Potential for more hours to service field trips and summer camp. Competitive Pay! $35

• 40/hour Duties
• Safely operate a bus, van, or other vehicle to transport passengers as required
• Monitor and control the movement of passengers, ensuring their safety at all times
• Follow all safety and traffic regulations, including speed limits and lane usage
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or issues passengers may have
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle, including regular checks of tires, brakes, and other critical systems
• Communicate effectively with passengers, including verbal and written communication
• Adapt to changing circumstances, such as inclement weather or road closures
• Maintain records of trips, including passenger counts and any issues that may have arisen during travel
• Participate in pre
• and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe and roadworthy
• Develop a rapport with passengers, including those with special needs, to ensure their comfort and safety
• Provide assistance to passengers as needed, including helping them with luggage or providing wheelchair access Requirements
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the necessary endorsements
• Experience driving a bus or similar vehicle
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish
• Ability to write reports and maintain accurate records
• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Ability to pass a background check
