Job Description

Summary of Position:
Safely and reliably transport and assist students to and from school. Must be available for both A.M. and P.M. runs. Opportunities for extra bus route runs such as: educational and sporting events, and/or other special or school-related activities, may be available.
Qualifications:
At least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent required Valid Driver's License required CDL with Class B, P, and S endorsements preferred; CDL training provided, if necessary Subject to Background Check, Drug Screen, and Department of Transportation physical
Essential Position Requirements:
Regular, Reliable, and Punctual attendance Safely transport passengers Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections Assist students in the loading and unloading process Monitor student behavior while in transit and remain alert to the welfare of passengers Attend meetings and conduct emergency drills as required by the Operations Director Ability to perform essential functions while adhering to district policies Performs other duties as assigned by the Transportation Director or Superintendent Reports to:
Transportation Director Pay Rate:
$50.00 per normal bus route run Deadline to apply: Until filled
