JOB SUMMARY

The school Bus Driver will be responsible for driving 15-72 passenger buses to and from Operation Breakthrough and designated locations.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent A safe driver with a good driving record, Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Passenger Endorsement (P), School Bus Endorsement (S)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Drive a 15-72 passenger bus in a safe and courteous manner Minimum of 2 years of relevant driving experience Transport students to and from area schools Transport children on field trips and other special events, as needed Make sure that all passengers are delivered safely from the bus to their destination Report mileage and activities to supervisor on a log provided with the vehicle Clean, fuel and perform minor routine maintenance on the vehicles upon each use as needed. Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds as needed Ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals within and out of the agency and to project a positive public image for oneself and Operation Breakthrough Other duties as assigned
