Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Bus Driver to join our team. The Bus Driver will be responsible for safely transporting children to their destinations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the vehicle is well-maintained. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a bus following a set schedule and route
- Ensure the safety of passengers during transit
- Provide exceptional customer service to all passengers
- Maintain a clean and organized bus interior
- Communicate effectively with children, parents and respond to inquiries
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times Skills
- Proficiency in school bus driving techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; multilingual skills are a plus
- Possession of a commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance
- Bilingual proficiency, especially in Spanish, is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills to interact with passengers of diverse backgrounds
