Summary We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Bus Driver to join the Ardsley UFSD team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and various events, ensuring a positive and secure environment for all passengers. Responsible individuals to come drive mini school buses for both AM & PM shifts. Pays $22-$32 per hour (depending on experience); guaranteed 27.5 hours/week. An additional $2 per hour premium for driving a 66 passenger bus. Responsibilities Safely operate a school bus on designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Assist students in boarding and exiting the bus, ensuring their safety at all times. Maintain a clean and organized bus environment for students. Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and students regarding transportation issues or concerns. Manage student behavior on the bus to ensure a respectful and safe atmosphere. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license CDL B (Preferred) & CDL C (Required) with S&P endorsements for school bus operation. Experience in school bus driving or commercial driving preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage student behavior effectively. Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
