Today Job Description Bus Driver - Remainder of 2026-2027 School Year

Position Type:

Classified Tipp City Schools is seeking reliable and safety-focused Bus Drivers for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year. This position is responsible for transporting students safely to and from school and related activities while maintaining a positive and orderly environment. Responsibilities Safely operate a school bus in accordance with all state and district regulations Transport students on assigned routes and/or trips Maintain order and ensure student safety on the bus Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff Qualifications Valid CDL with school bus endorsement (or ability to obtain) Satisfactory driving record Ability to meet all state and district requirements for school bus drivers Strong communication and interpersonal skills Requirements Successful BCI and FBI background checks Completion of required Ohio school bus driver training and certification Compliance with all state and district transportation regulations Application Process Interested candidates must apply through the Dayton Area School Consortium and upload a current resume.
