Both AM and PM Start Date:
August 24 (training prior to start date)
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older Clean driving record Ability to pass all background checks Willing to complete required training (CPR training provided by the center)

Duties Safely operate mini buses for morning pickups and afternoon drop-offs, following designated routes and schedules. Ensure the safety of all passengers by enforcing seat belt use, managing student behavior, and providing assistance as needed. Assist children with disabilities or mobility challenges, including wheelchair securement and providing necessary support during transit. Follow all traffic laws, transportation safety regulations, and school policies to ensure compliance at all times. Respond quickly and appropriately to traffic changes, emergencies, or unexpected delays with calmness and professionalism. Conduct vehicle inspections before each trip, checking brakes, lights, tires, and other essential systems to maintain vehicle safety standards. Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and emergency responders when necessary to coordinate student safety or address concerns. Experience Prior experience driving school buses, transit buses, or commercial vehicles is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle codes, emergency response procedures for transportation, and safety regulations. Experience working with children or in childcare settings that require behavior management skills. Valid driver's license appropriate for commercial or school bus operation; CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred but not mandatory if qualified under local regulations. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable to respond effectively in emergency situations. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for diverse communities. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting students or loading equipment safely.
Pay:
$14.00 - $19.00 per hour
