Job Description

Company Overview Nelson Barnum Interiors is a high-end residential interior design studio & boutique established in 1996. We are dedicated to creating beautiful and functional spaces. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail, commitment to exceptional service and experience within the trade. Summary The Courier/Studio Assistant is an essential part to daily operations around the studio and with assisting designers. The hours for this position are Monday -

Thursday:

8:30-4,

Friday:

9-2 Responsibilities Assist and upkeep with duties around the studio (e.g. kitchenette restock, installation supplies restock, building, hanging, & rearranging studio furniture/artwork) Receive, open, and repack packages Pickup and deliver to local workrooms, showrooms and client's homes Assist designers with project's (e.g. source, price, & specify fabric/furniture/lighting/materials, assist on construction drawings, draft proposals) Assist designers on installations Social media/marketing experience is a bonus Qualifications AutoCAD experience preferred (or hand drafting) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Able to lift 50 lbs Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Strong time management skills Strong communication skills Ability to work collaboratively
