We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Courier/Lab Assistant to join our team. This dual-role position is critical to ensuring the timely transportation of samples and the smooth operation of our lab processes.

Responsibilities Courier Duties:

Pick up and deliver samples, reports, and supplies to and from clients, field sites, and the laboratory. Ensure timely and accurate transportation of materials, adhering to established schedules. Maintain appropriate chain-of-custody documentation for all transported samples. Safely handle and transport potentially hazardous materials following lab safety protocols and regulations.

Lab Assistant Duties:

Assist in sample preparation, including labeling, logging, and organizing incoming samples. Maintain clean and organized workspaces, including lab benches and sample storage areas. Perform routine laboratory tasks such as washing glassware, restocking supplies, and basic equipment maintenance. Support lab staff with administrative tasks, such as data entry and filing.

Qualifications Required:

High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in science or related fields is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs (sample coolers, supplies). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
