Job Description

Responsibilities:

Assist the delivery driver with loading and unloading items onto the delivery truck
Ensure that all items are properly secured and organized for transport
Provide excellent customer service by being polite and professional during deliveries
Help navigate to delivery locations using GPS or maps
Assist with heavy lifting of packages and appliances
Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks to move items
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines during deliveries

Skills:

Previous experience as a courier or delivery driver is preferred
Strong customer service skills to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading
Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, box trucks, and manual transmission vehicles is a plus
Proficient in using GPS or maps for navigation purposes
Good organizational skills to ensure accurate and timely deliveries
