Join the CAPE Head Start team! As a Food/Supply Transporter , you'll help ensure children at our Early Head Start and Head Start centers receive the meals and supplies they need each day. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and making a difference in the lives of children and families. ? What We Offer 28 hours per week 38 weeks per year Benefits eligible Sick and vacation time Meaningful work supporting local children and families A variety of locations and an active workday ?? What You'll Do Deliver meals and supplies to designated Head Start centers. Return empty food containers to the vendor. Follow delivery routes and driving directions. Maintain the cleanliness of the agency vehicle. Complete required delivery documentation. Safely lift and carry items weighing approximately 30 pounds. Maintain dependable attendance and safe driving practices. ? What You'll Need High School Diploma/GED. Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance. Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, stand, walk, and climb stairs as needed. Ability to pass required background checks, fingerprinting, and drug screening.
