Responsibilities Safely operate bicycles, cargo bikes, or pedicabs to deliver goods across urban areas while adhering to traffic regulations. Manage customer expectations by providing friendly assistance and clear communication during deliveries. Handle customer inquiries professionally, including questions about delivery status or order details. Use mobile devices and two-way radio communication to coordinate routes, report issues, and ensure timely deliveries. Assist customers with wheelchair access or other mobility needs when applicable, demonstrating compassion and professionalism. Utilize hand trucks, dollies, or other equipment to manage cargo efficiently during pickups and drop-offs. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, cash transactions (if applicable), and any customer feedback for quality assurance. Requirements Proven experience in bicycle delivery, courier services, or food service roles with outdoor work exposure preferred. Strong knowledge of city street navigation and shared mobility systems to optimize delivery routes. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries calmly and effectively. Ability to operate mobile devices for route management and communication purposes. Basic bicycle repair skills to troubleshoot common issues during shifts. Familiarity with handling cargo bikes, hand trucks, dollies, and other delivery equipment. Adherence to traffic laws and safety protocols at all times to ensure personal and public safety.
