Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, assist with product inquiries, and provide product demos when needed to enhance their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling Manage fuel transactions efficiently while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone Stock shelves, merchandise products, and organize displays to ensure the store remains attractive and well-organized Upsell products such as snacks, beverages, or automotive accessories to maximize sales opportunities Supervise store areas during shifts, including supervising other team members if applicable, ensuring compliance with safety standards Maintain accurate cash drawers, handle retail math calculations confidently, and perform basic math tasks for daily operations Experience Prior experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn Supervising experience in a retail or customer service setting is a plus, demonstrating leadership qualities and team coordination skills Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math enhances your ability to succeed in this role Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to better serve our diverse customer base Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette are essential for engaging with customers effectively Previous experience with merchandising, stocking, or product demos will help you excel in maintaining an inviting store environment Join us as a Gas Station Associate and be part of a vibrant team committed to delivering top-tier service while building your career in retail!
