is seeking skilled and detail-oriented Aluminum Welders/Fabricators to join our team manufacturing aircraft refueling tanks and mission-critical refueling equipment for the United States military. This position focuses primarily on the fabrication and welding of large aluminum tank assemblies . The ideal candidate will have experience with aluminum MIG and/or TIG welding, blueprint reading, weld symbols, and general metal fabrication. Tank welding experience is preferred but not required for candidates with strong aluminum welding skills and the ability to produce consistent, high-quality work. Our products are built to demanding quality and performance requirements, making attention to detail, workmanship, and consistency essential. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on aluminum components and tank assemblies . Fit, assemble, and weld large fabricated aluminum structures in accordance with engineering drawings and manufacturing requirements. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, dimensions, and weld symbols. Perform welding in multiple positions and on a variety of joint configurations. Maintain proper fit-up, alignment, and dimensional accuracy throughout the fabrication and welding process. Use grinders, saws, hand tools, power tools, and other standard metal fabrication equipment. Inspect completed work for weld quality, workmanship, and conformance to applicable requirements. Perform grinding, cleaning, preparation, and other fabrication tasks as required. Follow established welding procedures, work instructions, and company quality requirements. Work closely with supervisors, inspectors, engineers, and other production personnel to resolve fabrication or welding issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Previous welding and/or metal fabrication experience required. Experience welding aluminum strongly preferred. Proficiency in aluminum MIG and/or TIG welding preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and weld symbols. Experience with tanks, pressure-containing structures, large fabricated assemblies, or similar products is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to use common welding and fabrication tools and equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a production team. Must be able to pass required company welding tests. Must be able to pass a background check. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment. Why Join Isometrics, Inc.?
