Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Gas Station Attendant, where you'll be the friendly face and efficient operator behind the pump and cashier station. Duties Operate cash register systems (POS) accurately for retail sales transactions, including fuel and convenience store items Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product demos when needed Manage cash drawer handling with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times Upsell products such as snacks, beverages, or car accessories to enhance customer experience and increase sales Stock shelves and coolers regularly to ensure product availability and attractive merchandising displays Maintain cleanliness of the station, including pumps, store area, and restrooms, adhering to safety standards Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of low supplies or discrepancies Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when taking orders or providing information to customers remotely Supervise or assist other team members during shifts to ensure efficient operations and excellent service delivery Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems and retail math for accurate transactions and cash handling Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer needs effectively Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising principles Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash register operations Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves or cleaning Demonstrated phone etiquette and professional communication skills Prior experience in supervising or leading team members is advantageous but not required Join us as a Gas Station Attendant where your enthusiasm meets opportunity!
