Duties Safely operate the ice cream truck, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols. Prepare and serve a variety of ice cream products. Manage retail sales transactions using Square POS system accurately handling cash and card payments. Engage with customers in a friendly, lively manner, upselling products to maximize sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling areas, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Restock inventory regularly, monitor product freshness, and manage supplies efficiently. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance to ensure reliable operation throughout shifts. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast food restaurant environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS for retail transactions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and create positive interactions. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Previous retail sales experience, including cashiering and grocery store experience preferred.
