Applications for those without any gas station or convenience store management experience will not be reviewed.
Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term operational plans and strategic goals. This includes creating and managing operational budgets and analyzing profit and loss statements to maximize revenue and control costs.
Operational Oversight:
Plan, monitor, and analyze the day-to-day running of all business locations, ensuring efficiency and timely completion of tasks. This involves managing procurement, resource allocation, and maintaining relationships with external vendors and partners.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure strict adherence to all local, state and federal laws and regulations, including OSHA and EPA requirements for fuel storage, handling, and safety protocols.
Team Leadership & HR Collaboration:
Supervise and mentor operations managers at each site, providing constructive feedback. Work closely with portfolio Human Resources on recruitment, hiring, training programs, and staff evaluation to foster a productive and safe work environment.
Inventory & Supply Chain:
Oversee fuel and convenience store inventory levels, supply chain sourcing, and logistics. This includes monitoring fuel markets to inform buying strategies and manage supply disruptions.
Performance Monitoring:
Evaluate overall department and site performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer conversion rates, average transaction value, and gross margin percentages. Experience Must have at least 2 years of experience in operations within the retail fuel or convenience store industry. A Bachelor's degree and/or relevant certifications in business administration, operations management, or a related field is a plus. Skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities. Deep knowledge of industry-specific regulation, safety practices, and risk management. Proficiency with financial analysis, budgeting, and relevant operations software/systems.

$50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
