We are committed to helping individuals reach their destinations safely, comfortably, and on time. We are currently seeking responsible, dependable, and caring Drivers to join our growing team. Position Summary As a Driver for FAN Transportation Services LLC, you will be responsible for safely transporting clients to and from approved destinations, including day programs, appointments, activities, and other scheduled locations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, has excellent driving skills, and understands the importance of patience, professionalism, and providing respectful service to individuals with developmental disabilities and other special needs. Key Responsibilities Safely transport clients to and from scheduled destinations. Provide courteous, respectful, and compassionate customer service. Assist clients with entering and exiting the vehicle when necessary. Secure passengers and mobility equipment according to company procedures and safety requirements. Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining punctuality. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable vehicle. Report vehicle maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Communicate professionally with clients, families, program staff, supervisors, and company management. Follow all company policies, traffic laws, and applicable transportation regulations. Maintain accurate transportation logs, mileage records, and other required documentation. Respond calmly and professionally to unexpected situations. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: A valid California driver's license, class C or B . A clean and safe driving record. Vendored Developmental Disabilities Provider (VDDP) certification is required. Current CPR and First Aid certification. A minimum age of [21] years, if required by company or insurance policy. Previous experience in non-medical transportation, passenger transportation, caregiving, healthcare, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Patience, compassion, and a professional attitude. The ability to follow schedules, directions, and company procedures. The ability to safely assist passengers as required. Dependability and a strong commitment to punctuality. The ability to pass required background checks, drug and alcohol screening, and any other employment or regulatory requirements.
