We are seeking a candidate for our Assistant Manager/Driver opening.
In this role you will drive passengers to and from medical appointments daily, other duties include assisting with routing, scheduling, marketing, billing, payroll, bookkeeping, logistical planning, and more. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to learn a new industry and be an integral part in the growth and success of a local family business. You will report directly to the Owner/Director and be the first point of contact for the drivers and customers. The right candidate will strive to provide excellent service to our clients while driving them to and from medical appointments a company provided wheelchair/stretcher van. Many of our drivers use their own vehicle for non wheelchair/stretcher passengers and some are cross trained to also use a company wheelchair/stretcher van for higher volume and quality of trips. This is a great opportunity for a ride app driver to take their driving to the next level and recieve more consistant trip volume while growing your driving side hustle into a carrer. This position is Monday-Saturday, with most nights and Sundays off. We are a leading non-emergency medical transportation company serving the North Florida area, dedicated to ensuring the safe and comfortable transport of those requiring a little extra care. No Experience Required. On the job training and Certifications Provided. This position requires you travel to pick up passengers mainly in Washington, Walton, Holmes, Bay, & Calhoun counties, and occasionally in Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Escambia county and surrounding areas.
Duties Indlude :
Safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities and home addresses.
Assisting passengers in and out of the vehicle including handling and securing walkers, canes, and other mobility devices.
Keeping detailed records of trips and ensuring timely arrivals while maintaining a clean vehicle.
Learn and understand company policies and procedures
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
Collaborate with other managers to achieve company goals
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
Previous experience in Ride Apps, customer service, bus or commercial driving is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Valid Florida Drivers License and minimum age of 25 is required by our insurance
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Proficient in computer skills Please note that this position requires travel and flexible working hours.
