This job Start at 06:30 am Lombard Surrounding Area drivers Preffered. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck or sprinter van, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations during route driving. Load and unload packages efficiently using heavy lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary. Deliver goods to customers promptly, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and proper handling of items. Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and incident reports as required. Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving stock within the facility, or preparing shipments for delivery. Experience Previous delivery driver experience with a focus on route driving and load & unload operations. Familiarity with warehouse environments, including heavy lifting, moving items, and operating equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating a box truck or similar commercial vehicle preferred. Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is a plus; ability to handle manual gear shifting confidently. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
