Full Job Description Summary:

Well-established occupational health testing practice in the downstate New York area seeking a dependable driver with a clean license to join our growing team and to train as a testing technician. This position will be involved in driving large mobile units/RV to client worksites in the tristate area scheduled by the corporate office to perform some OSHA related testing, in addition to drug testing collections and breath alcohol tests required by client workplace testing policies. Most testing, however, will be performed in the downstate New York area. Other important responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Instructing workers on testing being performed Maintaining adequate supplies Ensuring all related paperwork is properly prepared, completed, and returned to the corporate office Face-to-face interaction with client staff, workers, and job applicants can be expected. In addition to drug and breath alcohol testing performed for our client workers, you may also be asked to perform other fitness-for-duty testing. We will invest in you , and all necessary training will be provided. Daily work shifts can vary, but will typically range from 8 - 10 hours in duration . Though the majority of testing is performed Monday through Friday, some weekend and evening work may be necessary based on client need.

Minimum Requirements:

Workdays will begin at the Tarrytown, NY. location. Reliable transportation to this location is a MUST Work hours vary, mostly early mornings with occasional evening hours Must have careful attention to detail, excellent organization and time management skills Professional and courteous communication skills a must Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 At least 21 years of age Successful completion of a post offer background check and post offer drug screening A high school diploma or satisfactory combination of training and experience A valid driver's license with a clean record over the previous two (2) years

Compensation:

Starting pay is $22 per hour, and is based on overall qualification, experience, and commitment to invest a minimum of thirty five (35) hours per work week . This position is also eligible for paid time off, healthcare coverage, and other job benefits.
