Full-Time Medical Transportation Driver - Sheboygan / Plymouth Area At Transtar Medical Transportation , you're more than a driver—you become an important part of someone's day. Every day, you'll help Veterans, seniors, and individuals with medical needs safely get to appointments that improve their health and quality of life. Many of our passengers rely on us not just for transportation, but for kindness, reliability, and a familiar face they can trust. Your responsibilities include:
Providing safe, dependable transportation Assisting passengers into and out of medical facilities Safely transporting wheelchair passengers and securing mobility equipment Delivering excellent customer service with patience and professionalism Completing required paperwork accurately Maintaining a clean, professional company vehicle Every interaction matters. A smile, kind conversation, or helping hand can make a difficult day much better for someone who depends on our service. Schedule Typical hours fall between 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Drivers also participate in:
One weekend on-call rotation every four to five weeks Average work week: 40-45 hours What We're Looking For We're looking for people who genuinely care about others and take pride in doing things the right way.

Professional, friendly, and dependable Safe, defensive drivers Flexible team players Patient and compassionate with people who may be experiencing medical challenges Detail-oriented with accurate paperwork and record keeping Comfortable using email and basic technology Good communicators Punctual and reliable Comfortable navigating throughout southeastern Wisconsin Physical Requirements Applicants must be able to: Push occupied wheelchairs weighing up to approximately 350 pounds on ADA-compliant ramps and inclines Assist passengers entering and exiting vehicles safely Drive safely during both daylight and nighttime hours Requirements Must be 23 years of age or older Valid Wisconsin Driver License and Real ID Safe place to park a company vehicle overnight Ability to pass all required background checks and pre-employment requirements Because of contractual obligations, drivers may occasionally transport patients with contagious illnesses, including
COVID-19.
