Position Summary:

We are seeking a professional, safety-conscious, and customer-focused Motorcoach Operator to join our transportation team. The Motorcoach Operator is responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from scheduled tours, charter trips, and other assigned destinations while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to passenger safety, the ability to work independently, and a professional and courteous demeanor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Safely operate a motorcoach in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Transport passengers safely and efficiently on scheduled tours, charter trips, and other assigned routes. Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections. Complete and maintain required vehicle inspection reports, trip documentation, logbooks, and other required paperwork. Ensure the motorcoach is clean, presentable, and properly prepared for passengers before each trip. Provide professional, courteous, and friendly customer service to passengers. Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and loading or unloading luggage when necessary. Follow assigned itineraries, schedules, routes, and company procedures while adapting to changing traffic, weather, and road conditions. Communicate professionally with dispatchers, tour directors, office personnel, customers, and other team members. Respond appropriately to emergencies, accidents, mechanical issues, passenger concerns, and unexpected situations. Immediately report vehicle defects, safety concerns, accidents, incidents, or mechanical problems to the appropriate supervisor. Maintain compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), and company safety requirements. Follow all company policies regarding hours of service, drug and alcohol testing, passenger safety, and professional conduct. Represent the company in a positive and professional manner at all times. Attend required safety meetings, training sessions, and continuing education programs. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class A or B, with Passenger (P) and Air Brake endorsement. A minimum of 1 year Commercial Motor Vehicle driving experience. Acceptable driving record and ability to meet company and insurance requirements. Ability to pass required DOT physical examinations and drug and alcohol testing. Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and commercial passenger transportation regulations. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful or emergency situations. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions while operating a motorcoach. Flexibility to work varying schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight trips.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous motorcoach, charter bus, tour bus, school bus, or commercial passenger transportation experience. Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations. Experience working with passengers and providing exceptional customer service.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit and operate a motorcoach for extended periods. Ability to safely enter and exit the motorcoach multiple times throughout the day. Ability to assist with loading and unloading passenger luggage when necessary. Ability to perform vehicle inspections, including walking, bending, reaching, and climbing as required. Ability to meet all physical requirements necessary to safely perform the essential functions of the position.

Work Environment:

Motorcoach Operators work in a variety of environments and weather conditions. This position may require extended periods of driving, overnight travel, irregular schedules, and working weekends and holidays. Why Join Our Team?
