The Chief Flight Instructor is responsible for providing both ground instruction and in-flight flight instruction to beginner pilots in accordance with FAA Part 141 regulations, which regulations govern pilot schools.

Under general direction, provide leadership and guidance for flight school instructors; Serve as mentor to flight instructions and students; Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations(FARs) in the training of students and the supervision of flight instructors; Serve as company liaison and assist with our Airborne Italian department regarding
FAA/EASA
Flight training; Supervises flight training activities and flight instructors; Monitors and evaluates flight instructor performance; Supervise and perform stage checks, end-of-course tests, and flight instructor proficiency reviews; Lead conducting initial and annual recurrent standardized teaching techniques and procedures; Engage in the recruitment, interview and selection of prospective flight instructors; Confer with and provide information to prospective students and parents; Monitors student progress and ensure maintenance of student training records; Schedule and lead meetings with flight instructors; Work a 50-hour work weeks in-person, be available on some weekend days in case of operational needs, and be available seven (7) days a week via phone, during the operational hours of company's flight bases.
Requirements:
Eligibility for designation as Chief Flight Instructor under FAR Part 141.25;
Licenses:
Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument (CFII), Multi-Engine FlightInstructor (MEI); Min. flight hrs.: 2000 PIC, 1500 dual instruction given, 300 multi-engine; Addlreqs.:
EASA Licenses:
CPL, SEP and MEP w/ IR, holding an EASA frozen ATPL, valid 1st ClassMedical Certificate (FAA/EASA), ICAO English Proficiency Level 6 (FRO license). Send resume to francavilla@2flygroup.com #LI-DNI
