CURRENT MEMBERS OF THE IDAHO ARMY NATIONAL GUARD
Duties Help 1.
Training Instruction:
Administers and evalues flight training in UAS organizions. Is the ste subject mter expert on UAS, training programs and doctrine. responsible for increasing training realism by simuling or emuling red, blue, and green forces and equipment, environments, and conditions, and/or stimuling digital command and control systems to improve and/or sustain Unmanned Aircraft Crewmember (UAC) readiness and collective training requirements. Instructs Federal Aviion Administrion (FAA) required ground school aeronautical knowledge to include aircraft system, aerodynamics, weher, navigion, radio communicions, and flight planning. Instructs basic aviion maintenance fundamentals, basic electronics training, and electronic and mechanical maintenance of documention in accordance with current Army Maintenance Regulions and standards as applicable to UAS. Instructs UAS Emplace/Displacement, ground/flight operions and other aviion reled classroom instructions to including Aviion Mission Survivability, Aviion Gunnery, Air Reconnaissance, Scout Operions. (30%) 2.
Standardizion:
Applies technical expertise of aviion standardizion requirements to write and comment on operional concepts to prepare Flight Training Guides (FTG) and Programs of Instruction (POI), Aircrew Training Manuals (ATMs), Field Manuals (FMs) and other training publicions. Assist and advises co-workers concerning UAS operions and training requirements. Implements accident and mishap prevention techniques and procedures for aviion and ground operions of UAS. Inities, directs, and monitors a coordined program for accident and mishap prevention, investigion, and da analysis for UAS activities. Advises the commander on all levels of UAS standardizion within the command; assists the commander to develop, implement, evalue, and manage the unit's Air Crew Training Program. (25%) 3.
Operions:
Interacts with the Mission Briefing Officer (MBO) to identify, assess, and mitige risk for the specific mission, responsible for ensuring key mission elements are evalued, briefed, and understood by all crewmembers. Final Mission Approval Authority for Low risk missions. Serves as Mission Coordinor for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) flight, training operions and as a Training Instructor responsible for instructing military personnel on procedures for opering UAS through instrument control. Responsible for Spectrum Management Operions (SMO) by coordining with Spectrum Managers to alloce correct frequencies for UAS. Prepares risk assessments, and prepares and conducts mission briefings and debriefings. Ensures the correct and safe conduct of ground and flight operions through constant monitoring. (25%) 4. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Directs, coordines, and oversees work through subordine supervisors. Advises staff regarding policies, procedures, and directives of higher-level management or headquarters. Reviews selection of candides for subordine non-supervisory positions and selects subordine supervisors taking into considerion skills and qualificions, and mission requirements. Ensures reasonable equity among units of performance standards developed, modified, and/or interpreted and ring techniques developed by subordine supervisors. Explains performance expections to subordine supervisors and employees directly supervised and provides regular feedback on strengths and weaknesses. Manages performance of subordine supervisors and other employees directly supervised and serves as reviewing official on evaluion of non-supervisory employees red by subordine supervisors. Hears and resolves group grievances and employee complaints referred by subordine supervisors and employees. Inities actions to correct performance or conduct problems. Ensures documention prepared to support actions is proper and complete. Approves leave for subordines and ensures adeque coverage in organizion through peak workloads and traditional holiday vacion time. Discharges security responsibilities by ensuring educion and compliance with security directives for employees with access to classified or sensitive merial. Recognizes and takes approprie action to correct situions posing a thre to the health or safety of subordines. Provides a work environment th is free from all forms of discriminion, harassment, and retaliion. Ensures th subordine supervisors have effective interpersonal, communicion, and managerial skills to supervise in a workplace with diverse employees. (20%) Performs other duties as assigned. NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS
REQUIRED.. This is an excepted service position th requires membership in a compible military assignment in the employing ste's Nional Guard, required prior to the effective de of placement. Selectee required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigion. May be required to successfully complete a trial period. Participion in direct deposit is mandory. Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance. GENERAL EXPERIENCE

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
