Job Description

REACH Medical Holdings seeks a Helicopter Pilot for
SPIFR-HAA
operations supporting critical care air medical transport. This role flies emergency and interfacility missions across challenging terrain and weather, using advanced avionics and strict safety protocols. The pilot collaborates with flight nurses, paramedics, dispatch, and ground agencies to deliver safe, timely patient transport. Duties include pre/post-flight checks, IFR and night operations, risk assessment, and adherence to FAA and company standards. Pilots join a mission-driven, safety-focused team with ongoing training and advancement opportunities. Responsibilities Operate helicopter for emergency and interfacility medical transports in IMC and night conditions Ensure strict compliance with FAA, company, and safety protocols on every flight Coordinate closely with medical crews, dispatch, and ground partners for safe, timely patient transport Conduct thorough pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checks and documentation Maintain aircraft readiness, including reporting maintenance needs and discrepancies Participate in ongoing training, simulations, and check rides to maintain currency and proficiency Support mission debriefs, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts Provide professional, compassionate service to patients, families, and partner agencies Required Skills IFR helicopter operations Night and NVG flight operations Air medical/EMS aviation procedures Aeronautical decision making (ADM) Crew Resource Management (CRM) FAA regulations (Part 135/Part 91) Emergency and off-airport operations Navigation and avionics systems Weather assessment and risk management Technical aircraft systems knowledge
