Job Description
Apply First Officer - Cruise Location Worldwide Job Type Permanent The 1st Officer's primary responsibility is the planning and execution of the voyage, ensuring the vessel is safely and efficiently navigated to the next port of call, while maintaining all the necessary navigational/safety publications, charts, flags, rules and regulations. Responsibilities Serve as a Watchkeeping Officer and maintain required bridge, navigation, and AMOS competencies. Assist the Chief Officer with navigation, maintenance, safety, crew training, and operational duties. Manage bridge equipment, navigational publications, charts, GMDSS systems, records, and maintenance schedules. Support and supervise Tender, Zodiac, RIB, Rescue Boat, and SAR operations, including training and maintenance. Act as Safety Training Officer, conducting drills, inspections, training, certification tracking, and SOLAS compliance. Oversee maintenance and inspections of LSA, small craft, dive equipment, tanks, and deck-related assets. Ensure all work is carried out safely, professionally, and in accordance with company procedures and the Safety Management System. Requirements Qualifications and licenses shall conform with all International and National conventions/ regulations. Preferably Master's license, STCW II/2 license, minimum Chief Officer license
