GED Driver's License First Aid Certification Driving Full Job Description Job Duties and Skills:

To assist and care for participants in the day program. Provide support to the participants in areas related to vocational skills. Provide supervision to participants while at the center as well as on community engagement locations. Utilize ethical methods of behavioral management including verbal and physical means. Assist with toileting and grooming skills where needed. Ensure adequate training and legible documentation at all times. Coordinate efforts on work related conflicts and problem solve when necessary. Assist participants with getting off and on vans. Maintain professional behaviors at all times. People oriented individuals who enjoy getting out into the community.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years working with the MR/DD population - preferred but not required. Be able to lift, stoop, and bend. Must be 25 years old to drive. Must maintain good driving record. Must maintain valid driver's license. Must pass a drug test. Must pass a TB test. Certified in CPR/First Aid. GED or higher. Background check.
