Independent Contractor Minivan Driver

• School Transportation (1099) SRMB is seeking dependable independent contractor drivers with a minivan for scheduled school transportation in and around Lakewood, NJ .

This opportunity is primarily for weekday school transportation during the following time windows:

Morning:

7:30 AM

• 10:00

AM Afternoon:

2:00 PM

• 5:30

PM Evening:

Some additional flexible evening opportunities may also be available This is a flexible independent contractor opportunity . Drivers are paid per completed run , with consistent routes potentially available throughout the school year. All operating expenses—including gas, maintenance, insurance, and general vehicle upkeep—are the responsibility of the contractor . Completed rides typically pay a flat-rate commission per run , with earnings generally ranging from $20

• 30+ per completed ride , depending on the route and assignment.

What You'll Do Provide safe transportation for school-age children Primarily drive local routes in and around Lakewood, Howell, Jackson, and Toms River Complete scheduled morning, afternoon, and occasional evening school runs Communicate professionally with families and dispatch Maintain a safe, clean, and reliable vehicle Requirements Must have a minivan Valid driver's license Valid automobile insurance Reliable transportation Must be dependable and punctual Must be comfortable transporting and interacting with school-age children Smartphone required for ride assignments and communication Safety & Monitoring Safety is a top priority. A live-feed safety camera will operate during rides to provide additional oversight, accountability, and reassurance for families. Drivers must understand that safety and punctuality are top priorities and must be comfortable operating with the safety camera active while transporting passengers.
