Cargo Van Driver - Early Morning Route A&O Trucking Co., Inc. , a transportation company serving the Hudson Valley since the 1970's, is seeking a dependable and professional Cargo Van Driver for an established scheduled route. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys early mornings, takes pride in being dependable, and is comfortable working independently on a time-sensitive transportation schedule. Schedule Monday-Saturday Early-morning start Consistent scheduled route Home daily Saturday availability is required This is a six-day-per-week position. Applicants must be able to consistently report to work on time for early-morning scheduled departures.

Compensation Base Wage:

$22.31 per hour

Health & Welfare Benefit:

$6.42 per hour

Responsibilities Safely operate a company-provided commercial cargo van on an assigned route Follow established departure, arrival, and transportation schedules Maintain dependable and punctual attendance Perform required daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Promptly report mechanical, safety, or vehicle concerns Keep the assigned vehicle clean, organized, and properly cared for Complete required daily vehicle and route documentation Safely load, secure, transport, and unload materials as required Follow all company safety procedures and operating requirements Work independently and communicate promptly regarding delays or operational issues This position operates on a fixed, time-sensitive transportation schedule. Drivers are expected to follow scheduled departure and arrival times and may not combine, skip, or depart early from scheduled trips without authorization. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of verifiable professional driving, courier, delivery, or route-driving experience preferred Valid driver's license Acceptable driving record Experience safely operating cargo vans or similar commercial vehicles Ability to perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Strong attendance and punctuality Ability to follow a fixed transportation schedule Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently Must be available for an early-morning Monday-Saturday schedule Ability to safely perform the physical duties associated with loading and unloading the vehicle Benefits Paid holidays Paid vacation Paid sick time Paid training Consistent Monday-Saturday schedule Home daily About A&O Trucking A&O Trucking Co., Inc. has been providing transportation services since the 1970's.
