Driver NEMT Beachwood Transportation - 2.7 Warrensville Heights, OH Job Details Full-time $15.00 - $23.62 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Customer service GPS Passenger pickup and drop-off NEMT driving Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Driver NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) to provide safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services for clients requiring medical appointments, therapy sessions, or other non-emergency travel needs. As a vital part of our team, you will ensure punctuality, maintain excellent customer service, and adhere to all safety and regulatory standards. Your role will help improve the quality of life for our clients by delivering them to their destinations comfortably and securely. Responsibilities Safely operate various types of vehicles including shuttle buses, limousines, and paratransit vans to transport clients to scheduled appointments and destinations. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including those with mobility challenges or special needs. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and client information in accordance with company policies. Communicate effectively with clients, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate schedules and address any concerns promptly. Handle heavy lifting when necessary for securing mobility devices or assisting clients with luggage or personal belongings. Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws diligently to ensure a secure environment for passengers and other road users. Skills Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or limousine services with a strong focus on customer service. Familiarity with paratransit operations and commercial driving regulations. Skilled in heavy lifting and assisting passengers with mobility aids or luggage. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with diverse clients and team members. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance routines to identify issues early and ensure vehicle safety. Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS systems or maps while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Valid driver's license. Pay:
