USCG Licensed Captain - Commercial Charter Operations (Lake Tahoe) Seasonal / Part-Time or Full-Time (Summer focus) Job Summary We are seeking a professional, safety-focused USCG licensed captain to operate our 2023 Premier 330 Escalante double-decker pontoon boat for commercial charters on Lake Tahoe. The role includes captaining private charters, sunset cruises, and group outings while delivering excellent customer service. Occasional boat launching and basic maintenance support will also be required. Key Responsibilities Safely operate the 34.5 ft double-decker pontoon for paying passengers Conduct pre-trip safety briefings and equipment checks Ensure compliance with USCG regulations and company safety protocols Manage passenger loading/unloading and onboard experience Launch and retrieve the boat from storage or trailer as needed (occasional) Perform occasional basic maintenance and coordinate with service providers when required Maintain accurate logs and documentation Report any mechanical or safety issues promptly Requirements Valid

USCG OUPV

(6-Pack) or Master license (inland or near-coastal) Minimum 2-3 years of professional captain experience (pontoon or larger vessels preferred) Clean driving and boating record Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work weekends and flexible hours during peak season Knowledge of Lake Tahoe waters (preferred but not required) Drug-free and willing to participate in random drug testing Compensation Competitive daily or per-trip rate (DOE) Potential for performance bonuses Flexible schedule during shoulder seasons
