The Assistant Marine Educator supports lead educators in delivering engaging, hands-on marine science lessons and outdoor adventures. This role is perfect for individuals who love the ocean, enjoy working with kids, and are eager to share their passion for marine life in a fun and energetic setting. This position calls for between 25-30 hours/week. Responsibilities Assist lead educators with marine science programs, including camps, homeschool classes, and our afterschool program with kids aged 5-11. Help supervise and engage students in hands-on activities, both indoors and outdoors. Ensure a safe and positive learning environment. Set up and clean up materials for lessons and activities. Answer visitor questions and assist with guest interactions. Qualifications Enthusiasm for marine life, environmental education, and working with kids. Comfortable working in outdoor environments, including the beach and marsh. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to adapt and assist with various tasks as needed. Why Join EMA?
