Box Hero Logistics, LLC is preparing to launch our Amazon delivery operations in the Birmingham area, and we're building our team now! What You'll Do:

As a Delivery Driver, you'll spend most of your workday independently on the road delivering Amazon packages throughout the Birmingham area.

Your responsibilities will include:

Safely operating a company-provided delivery vehicle Following assigned routes using GPS/navigation technology Loading, organizing, and delivering packages efficiently Entering and exiting the vehicle frequently throughout your route Delivering packages safely and accurately to homes and businesses Using a smartphone/device to scan packages and complete deliveries Communicating with dispatch when assistance or direction is needed Conducting required pre- and post-route vehicle inspections Following Amazon, Box Hero Logistics, and traffic safety procedures Providing professional and courteous service to customers Helping teammates when operational needs require it We're Looking for

Basic Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years old Valid driver's license Must meet applicable driving-record requirements Authorized to work in the United States Able to safely operate a delivery vehicle Comfortable using GPS and smartphone-based applications Able to repeatedly enter and exit a delivery vehicle throughout the shift Able to lift, carry, and deliver packages weighing up to 50 lbs. Able to work outdoors in Birmingham weather conditions, including heat, cold, & rain Able to work scheduled shifts of up to 10 hours Weekend availability required, including at least one weekend day as scheduled Strong time-management, communication, and problem-solving skills Dependable attendance and commitment to safety Must meet all applicable employment and onboarding requirements Delivery experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are more interested in finding dependable people with the right attitude, work ethic, driving ability, and willingness to learn. Employment with Box Hero Logistics is contingent upon successfully completing applicable pre-employment requirements.

Schedule & Hours:

Box Hero Logistics is hiring for both full-time and part-time Delivery Driver positions. Delivery Drivers should be prepared to work shifts of up to 10 hours . Weekly schedules and total hours may vary based on route availability, business needs, attendance, reliability, safety, and individual performance. Full-time positions do not guarantee 40 hours per week. Opportunities for up to 40 hours may be available based on individual performance, reliability, route availability, and operational needs. Part-time schedules and weekly hours will vary based on employee availability and business needs. Weekend availability is required, including at least one weekend day as scheduled. We want employees who are looking for more than their next short-term job. As our operation grows, we want dependable team members who can grow with us and potentially develop into Lead Driver, Trainer, Dispatcher, and leadership opportunities.
