Join the MTC Delivery Team Mims Trucking Company (MTC) is looking for dependable, professional independent contractors to assist with Edible Arrangements delivery opportunities. This is a flexible delivery opportunity for drivers who want to choose when they're available and earn based on the delivery opportunities they voluntarily accept. ⸻

SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY

Delivery opportunities are generally available: Monday-Saturday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM The typical order cutoff is around 4:00 PM. Contractors may provide their availability to MTC for available delivery opportunities.

Availability may include:

Morning opportunities Afternoon opportunities Additional opportunities based on business volume Providing availability does not guarantee a route, order, minimum hours, or minimum income. Contractors may accept or decline an available opportunity before accepting it. Once a contractor voluntarily accepts a specific delivery opportunity, they are expected to fulfill that commitment unless a legitimate emergency or circumstance outside their reasonable control prevents completion. ⸻

DRIVER ROLE

Contractors will: Pick up Edible Arrangements orders from the applicable store Safely transport arrangements Complete accepted deliveries accurately and professionally Follow applicable store and MTC procedures Communicate with customers as required Properly handle undeliverable orders Return orders to the store when required Protect arrangements from avoidable damage Provide professional customer service This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, not a traditional hourly W-2 position. ⸻

PAY STRUCTURE STANDARD LOCAL ORDERS

$6.00 per completed local order Most standard orders are located within approximately 18 miles of the applicable store.

OUTLIER ORDERS

Orders located more than 18 miles from the applicable store are considered outlier territory.

Outlier orders may pay:

00+ PER ORDER Actual outlier compensation may vary based on: Distance Delivery time Complexity Special handling Order size Customer/location circumstances Other operational requirements MTC generally does not deliver beyond 40 miles from the applicable store. Any special exception must be communicated before the delivery opportunity is accepted. ⸻ PAYMENT Contractor payments are issued weekly on Tuesdays Standard payment method is PayPal Contractors must provide accurate PayPal payment information Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and business expenses ⸻

REQUIREMENTS

Contractors must have: Reliable vehicle Working air conditioning Valid driver's license Required automobile insurance Smartphone GPS/navigation capability Reliable communication Ability to transport arrangements safely Professional attitude Dependable work habits ⸻

DRIVER RESPONSIBILITY

Edible Arrangements may be fragile, perishable, or specially prepared. Contractors are expected to exercise reasonable care when transporting and delivering customer orders. Documented driver-caused damage, loss, improper handling, incorrect delivery, or other driver-caused losses may result in the contractor being financially responsible for the applicable store/client charge in accordance with store rules, the MTC Independent Contractor Agreement, and applicable law. This may include damage caused by: Dropping an arrangement Improperly securing an arrangement Improper transportation Leaving an arrangement exposed to avoidable damaging conditions Incorrect delivery Losing an arrangement Failure to follow required handling procedures Contractors are not responsible for losses or damage caused by circumstances outside their reasonable control. ⸻

ACCEPTED DELIVERY OPPORTUNITIES & ROUTE DROPS

Contractors may decline available delivery opportunities before accepting them. Once a contractor voluntarily accepts a specific delivery opportunity, they are expected to complete it. A last-minute cancellation or abandonment of an accepted opportunity without a legitimate emergency or circumstance outside the contractor's reasonable control may result in a: $50 ROUTE-DROP CHARGE Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may also affect eligibility for future delivery opportunities. ⸻

GROWTH OPPORTUNITY

As MTC's delivery volume grows, reliable contractors may receive opportunities for additional delivery work. Future opportunities may be influenced by: Reliability Professionalism Delivery accuracy Communication Customer service Successfully completed deliveries History of fulfilling accepted opportunities There is no guaranteed minimum amount of work or income. ⸻
