In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a box truck to deliver appliances and equipment to customer locations, while providing exceptional customer service. You will also perform appliance installation and repair, utilizing your mechanical skills and technical knowledge to ensure each job is completed efficiently and accurately. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine driving, technical troubleshooting, and hands-on installation work in a fast-paced environment that values safety, professionalism, and teamwork. Duties Safely operate a company box truck for scheduled deliveries and pickups, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols Load, secure, and unload appliances and equipment using appropriate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and schematics when necessary Perform detailed appliance installations including refrigeration units, electrical connections, plumbing setups, and mechanical adjustments Troubleshoot equipment issues on-site by diagnosing problems with electrical systems, refrigeration components, or mechanical parts Conduct routine maintenance checks on the vehicle and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety compliance Interact professionally with customers during delivery and installation appointments, providing clear explanations of work performed and addressing any questions or concerns Complete all required documentation accurately, including delivery logs, inspection reports, and service records Qualifications Proven experience with appliance repair, installation, or maintenance in residential or commercial settings Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in electrical work, plumbing, refrigeration systems, and schematics interpretation Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other equipment necessary for installation tasks Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently using diagnostic techniques and technical manuals Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles or similar trucks preferred Knowledge of safety procedures related to vehicle operation and appliance installation practices Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude; able to communicate clearly with clients and team members Experience working with maintenance, repair operations (MRO), electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, or refrigeration units is highly desirable Join our team as a Box Truck Delivery & Appliance Installation Driver to enjoy a role that combines driving excitement with technical mastery!
