Job Overview Automotive Parts Delivery Driver - NAPA Auto Parts Desert Area Corporation / NAPA Auto Parts is looking for a dependable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. Our Delivery Drivers play an important role in providing excellent service to our commercial customers. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of safety, efficiency, urgency, accuracy, and communication while representing NAPA Auto Parts professionally in the community. Responsibilities Deliver automotive parts and products to customers safely, accurately, and efficiently. Follow assigned delivery routes and directions provided by dispatch. Maintain a sense of urgency while always following traffic laws and safe-driving practices. Verify orders before leaving the store to help ensure the correct parts are delivered to the correct customer. Obtain required signatures, delivery confirmations, or other documentation when necessary. Communicate promptly with dispatch or management regarding delays, incorrect addresses, customer concerns, or delivery issues. Provide friendly, professional customer service during every delivery and pickup. Load and unload parts carefully to prevent damage. Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized. Perform basic vehicle safety checks and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns. Follow all company policies regarding delivery vehicles, accidents, customer property, and safe driving. Strictly follow Desert Area Corporation / NAPA Auto Parts' zero-tolerance cell phone policy while operating a company vehicle. Cell phone use while driving a company vehicle is prohibited. Assist with stocking, pulling parts, organizing orders, or other store duties when not actively making deliveries. Work cooperatively with dispatchers, counter staff, warehouse personnel, and management. Required Qualifications Valid driver's license. Acceptable driving record. Ability to operate a company vehicle safely and responsibly. Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving . Ability and willingness to comply with

Auto Parts' zero-tolerance cell phone policy while driving company vehicles. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to follow directions and delivery instructions accurately. Ability to use GPS or an electronic delivery system when safely stopped or as otherwise permitted by company policy. Ability to manage multiple deliveries and priorities while remaining organized. Ability to lift and carry automotive parts and products as required. Professional attitude and appearance when interacting with customers. Ability to work independently while remaining in communication with dispatch and management. Preferred Qualifications Previous delivery driver or route-driving experience is a plus. Automotive parts or automotive industry experience is a plus. Familiarity with the local area and surrounding communities is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. We are looking for someone who understands that a great Delivery Driver is more than someone who drives from Point A to Point B. Our drivers are an important part of our customer service team and are expected to provide safe, efficient, accurate, and professional service with every delivery.
