Split Sleeper Berth Requirements:

This position operates under FMCSA split sleeper berth regulations (8/2 or 7/3 split): If the off-duty period is 2 hours, drivers must complete 8 consecutive hours in the sleeper berth. If the off-duty period is 3 hours, drivers must complete 7 consecutive hours in the sleeper berth. Drivers must accurately record all duty statuses in compliance with FMCSA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a commercial vehicle on scheduled regional routes Complete two delivery runs per shift cycle Maintain accurate electronic logs and duty status records Follow all FMCSA hours-of-service requirements Remain on-site for 3-4 consecutive days per assignment Communicate effectively with dispatch and meet delivery schedules Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain a strong focus on safety and compliance

Qualifications:

Valid CDL Class A license Clean driving record 1-2 years of commercial driving experience preferred Strong understanding of HOS and split sleeper berth regulations Ability to manage extended shifts and multi-day assignments Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused
