DEFINITION

Under general supervision, to perform a variety of receiving, warehousing and delivery functions; to operate a District vehicle to pick up and deliver supplies, mail, food, books and equipment; and perform related duties as assigned. View Job Description Requirements / Qualifications

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

Prior experience in receiving, inventory and delivery methods is desirable; equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; or any combination of training and/or experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities. Substitute Delivery Driver Incumbents will be loading and unloading the vehicle which often includes lifting heavy items.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT PHYSICAL EXAMINATION

This position is subject to Board Policy 4212.3, which requires persons who are offered employment in certain classified positions to submit to pre-employment physical examinations, including a urinalysis drug screen. For inquiries regarding
