Ice Delivery Truck Driver Emergency Ice Miami Opa-locka, FL Job Details Full-time $17 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Spanish English Driver's License Materials handling Full Job Description Benefits Competitive pay ($17 per hour + Overtime when over 40 hours) Fixed schedule Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and professional Truck Driver to join our ice company, Emergency Ice Miami. This position is for a fixed Wednesday 11 to 7 pm Thursday 1pm to 9pm. Friday 3pm to 11pm Saturday 3pm to 11pm Sunday 11amto 7 pm . Monday OFF Tuesday OFF In this role, you will transport different types of packaged ice and products from one location to another. You will ensure adherence to delivery schedules and perform routine vehicle safety inspections. The ideal candidate has experience driving trucks and makes safety a number one priority. Responsibilities Pick up materials, ice bags, and products from one location and transport them to another location. Perform pre- and post-DOT truck inspections . Properly secure all loads on the truck before transportation. Safely operate the assigned truck and equipment. Perform daily maintenance checks and maintain the truck in a clean and orderly condition. Report any mechanical issues, maintenance needs, safety concerns, incidents, or inconveniences immediately to the supervisor. Adhere to all scheduled delivery times. Follow instructions and assignments provided by the dispatchers on duty. Take pre- and post-delivery photographs as required. Obtain the customer's signature on orders at the end of each delivery . Comply with all company policies and applicable driving laws. Qualifications Previous experience as a Truck Driver is preferred. Speaks Spanish/English (Either or, preferbly both) Be able to lift 16lb ice bags repeatedly throughout day. Valid Florida driver's license. Understanding of all relevant truck driving laws and regulations. Clean driving record and criminal record Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
