Operating out of 20 locations statewide, the company is a leader in the industry in the procurement and sale of gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, commercial and industrial lubricants, and chemicals that are used across a diverse set of end markets. Palmdale Oil is seeking a Daytime Box Truck (Oil Delivery) Driver at our Palm City who must have a Class B with X Endorsement. The driver must be dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid background in driving and a desire to work for a fast-paced, corporate organization. In addition to exceptional customer service skills, you must have a "roll-up your sleeves" attitude.

Job responsibilities:

Operates a box truck as directed, transporting between the facility and multiple destinations. Typical routes are within a 100-mile radius of the home terminal and include generally between 7 to 12 deliveries per day. Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery and/or pick-up of fuels/oils to ensure timely service. Makes deliveries of oils and lubricants in accordance with customer needs and company policies. Maintains telephone contact with home terminal/dispatch center to receive delivery instructions or notices of changes in route or schedule to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations. Maintains a log of travel in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company needs. Responsible for daily inspection of vehicle (pre-post trip), ensuring proper function of all safety related features of the vehicle at all times, including refueling as needed.

Job Requirements:

The required skills for the Class B CDL Route Driver are: CDL Class B HazMat & Tanker not required but preferred Minimum 3 years verifiable commercial driving experience Must be licensed to operate the assigned vehicle Able to Lift 100 pounds High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Able to work 6:00AM - 6:00PM and available for overtime as required to meet business needs within the appropriate State/Federal regulations, plus rotating Saturdays as needed Travel in the surrounding regions Exceptional Customer Service Skills Positive and Professional Demeanor Outstanding Safety Record Must have a clean driving record with no serious violations Must be able to meet all DOT/Federal and State Requirements for the operation of commercial motor vehicles Must maintain a clean presentation of the driver and vehicle Stable Work History Benefits Our employees and their well-being are important to us.
