Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Part-Time Preschool Driver to join our team. This vital role is responsible for safely transporting children to and from school and other authorized locations while ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the transportation process. The ideal candidate will be responsible, punctual, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a preschool environment. Previous experience transporting children or working with young learners is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Safely transport children to and from school and authorized locations. Ensure children are safely supervised when boarding and exiting the vehicle. Follow all school transportation policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations. Conduct required vehicle safety checks before transportation. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized school vehicle. Report any vehicle maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Maintain required transportation and child records. Communicate professionally and respectfully with families, teachers, and school administration. Maintain a safe and professional driving record at all times. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required. Clean and safe driving record. Previous professional driving experience strongly preferred. Experience transporting children preferred. Responsible, dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patient, caring, and comfortable working around young children. Must meet all applicable DCF and early childhood licensing requirements.
