Job Description
Overview We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Person to join our team. This role involves transporting goods, appliances, and other items to various locations, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, handling appliance installation and delivery, and maintaining excellent customer service throughout the process. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety and professionalism. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring items are secured properly during transit. Deliver appliances and other products to customers' homes or business locations, ensuring accurate order fulfillment. Assist with appliance installation as needed, providing support to ensure proper setup. Verify delivery contents against orders and obtain customer signatures upon completion. Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of delivery vehicles. Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during deliveries. Communicate effectively with customers, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns. Keep detailed records of deliveries, including mileage, delivery times, and any issues encountered. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Physical ability to load and unload heavy appliances and packages. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to follow directions accurately and work independently. Strong communication skills for interacting with customers professionally. Prior experience in delivery or appliance installation is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
