FURNITURE DELIVERY DRIVER/HELPER

CARBONDALE IL
Ashley Now Hiring an Additional Full Time Driver/Helper Delivery & Set Up Team, For Delivery of Home Furnishings.

Individuals Who are Friendly, Strong, Professional & Customer Service Oriented, are Great Fits for This Position.

Required Skill Set:

A Valid Driver's License with A Clean Driving Record
At Least 1 Year Delivery/Driving Experience with a Box Truck, or Similar.
At Least 1 Year Warehousing Experience And/or Furniture Assembly Bring Your Skill and Great Personality, and We Will Provide Everything Else You Need.

Pay Will be Based on the Quality of Your Experience, and Ability Submit A Resume, With Full Employment History, Or Apply in Person at Ashley Homestore, 600 East Walnut St, Eastgate Shopping Center, Carbondale, IL All Prospective Applicants Are Required Submit to A Background Check and Drug Screening Prior To Employment, as Well as Ongoing Random Drug Testing Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck to deliver goods to various locations while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients upon delivery. Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all items are accounted for. Assist with assembly of products as needed at delivery sites. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.
