Job Description
Minuteman Press of Burlington and Minuteman Press of Malden is seeking a dependable, hard-working team member to join our print and marketing company. This position will be responsible for bindery/finishing work, production support, making deliveries and general shop assistance for our Burlington and Malden locations. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety in their day, is comfortable working with machinery, and takes pride in being reliable and detail oriented. This role will be responsible for assisting in the binding and finishing processes as well as making deliveries throughout the Greater Boston area and areas north of Boston. Additionally, you will be expected to support the overall operations of our print production and customer service. We have a fast paced work environment with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Assist with bindery and finishing operations including, Cutting, Folding, Coil Binding, Laminating, Mailing, Packaging and Wide Format Finishing. Operate production and finishing equipment safely and efficiently. Deliver printed materials and marketing products to customers throughout the Greater Boston area, including Boston, Malden, Burlington, Billerica, and surrounding communities. Safely load, unload, and transport printed materials and boxes. Help maintain organization and cleanliness of both shops. Assist team members with production workflow and shop support tasks. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Inspect incoming materials, ensuring they meet specifications. Occasionally help with customer pickups and basic customer service. Requirements Must be 25 years of age or older. Clean driving record required. Comfortable driving in and around Boston traffic. Ability to repeatedly lift and move 50+ pounds. Ability to stand for long periods. Reliable, punctual, and organized. Comfortable working around machinery and production equipment. Strong attention to detail. Strong basic math and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed. This is a Full-Time position. Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5pm. Preferred Qualifications Experience in printing, bindery, sign production, or manufacturing. Graphic design experience a plus. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus. Prior delivery experience a plus.
