Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong driving skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and familiarity with warehouse operations. Responsibilities Safely operate a delivery vehicle, including box trucks and other commercial vehicles. Load and unload products using pallet jacks and forklifts as necessary. Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Maintain accurate delivery records and logs, including mileage and delivery times. Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on delivery status and address any concerns. Assist in warehouse operations, including organizing inventory and performing routine maintenance on delivery vehicles. Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used to prevent injury. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the day. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must be able to pass any required background checks or driving assessments.
