Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Installation & Delivery Assistant specializing in walk-in coolers and restaurant equipment. This energetic role involves supporting the installation, delivery, and maintenance of commercial refrigeration units and restaurant appliances. You will be a vital part of our field service team, ensuring equipment is delivered safely, installed correctly, and maintained to the highest standards. Duties Assist with the safe delivery and setup of walk-in coolers, freezers, and restaurant equipment using company vehicles and power tools Support installation teams by following schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and plumbing layouts to ensure proper setup of refrigeration and mechanical systems Troubleshoot equipment issues on-site by diagnosing problems with refrigeration units, electrical components, or mechanical parts Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other mechanical equipment to assemble and install appliances according to manufacturer specifications Perform routine maintenance tasks including cleaning, minor repairs, and component replacements to ensure optimal operation of installed equipment Communicate effectively with customers during delivery and installation processes to provide excellent service and address any questions or concerns Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including inspection reports, troubleshooting logs, and delivery records Requirements Proven experience with appliance repair, equipment troubleshooting, or field service work involving refrigeration or HVAC systems Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and electrical diagrams Familiarity with plumbing work related to refrigeration systems Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other mechanical equipment Experience operating company vehicles such as box trucks or similar delivery vehicles safely and responsibly Knowledge of electrical work related to appliance installation and repair Customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients during deliveries and installations Ability to follow detailed instructions from schematics and technical manuals accurately Prior experience in delivery driving or field service roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates interested in developing their skills further Join our team to play a crucial role in delivering top-quality restaurant equipment while enhancing your technical expertise!
